Rent The Carbon Project Eclipse One Triathlon bike in Sydney.  Available for rent from 1st July 2025.

We highly recommend you pick up from our location in Ultimo near the Sydney CBD (Mon to Fri, 9am-5pm) so we can make adjustments to ensure the optimal bike fit.  However, can deliver to your hotel with instructions on how to adjust the height of the handlebar.

The Eclipse One stands as the inaugural triathlon frame from The Carbon Project, embodying a fusion of aerodynamic innovation, structural integrity, and athlete-centric design. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this frame is tailored to meet the rigorous demands of triathletes seeking peak performance.

Utilizing advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel testing, the Eclipse One’s frame geometry is optimized to minimize drag and enhance airflow efficiency.  

Constructed from high-modulus carbon fiber, the Eclipse One delivers exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratios. This translates to superior power transfer during intense efforts, ensuring that every watt generated propels the athlete forward. 

The Eclipse One incorporates an adjustable cockpit system allowing you to fine-tune your riding position for optimal comfort and efficiency.

Note: Bike comes with SRAM Force rather than SRAM Red as pictured.

How it works

  • 1. Choose delivery to your hotel or pick up from our location in Sydney for free

    We can deliver and pick up the bike at your hotel (or address e.g. AirBnB, Office) any day of the week for a fee confirmed at checkout. We recommend you pick up from our location in Ultimo near the Sydney CBD Mon-Fri at 4pm so we can assist in setting up the bike for you.

  • 2. Choose your dates and bike in the correct size

    Select the dates you would like to rent the bike which will show the available bikes. See a size guide in the drop down below to ensure you choose the correct bike size.

  • 3. Choose your accessories

    - Select your preferred pedal or choose BYO if you will bring your own.

    - Select optional paid accessories (scroll right) including a GPS Bike Computer and Bike Damage Cover.

    - In the final step specify which optional free accessories you would like (helmet, lights, saddle bag).

2 days = $150 per day
3 days = $130 per day
4 days = $120 per day
5 days = $110 per day
6 days = $105 per day

Rental Inclusions

The following are included with your rental:

  1. Helmet: Small, Medium, Large or Bring Your Own.
  2. Pedals: Your choice of; Shimano SPD-SL Road, Shimano SP-MTB, Look Keo, Time Iclic, Speedplay, Flat pedals or Bring Your Own.
  3. Bottle Cages: (x2)
  4. Saddle Bag: Includes; Spare Tube, Tyre Levers, Co2 Canister and Co2 Inflator.
  5. Lights: We can provide both front & Rear Lights
  6. Computer Mount: Garmin or Wahoo Mounts Available.

Pick up and delivery options

So we can help you set up the bike we recommend you pick up from our location in Ultimo close to the Sydney CBD. Alternatively, we can deliver to your hotel concierge and provide instructions for you to adjust the handlebar height.

Note - Our rental office is closed on weekends so you can only pick and drop Mon-Fri or we can deliver to your hotel over weekends.

Can the bike be picked up the day before the rental starts?

Yes, you can pick the bike up after 4pm the day before your rental starts Monday to Friday.  

How to measure saddle height

In addition to you selecting the correct bike size, we will require your saddle height.

Measure the distance in centimetres between the centre of your crankset and the top of your saddle on your current bike, in the middle of the saddle rails.

Extras

You can book the following items to accompany your bike booking:

  • GPS Bike Computer - an optional accessory in the bike rental booking process
  • Guided Ride by an experienced local rider - can be booked here.
  • Bike Damage Cover for $30 per day - an optional accessory in the bike rental booking process

Insurance

Your bike is not covered by insurance which means if you damage the bike or its stolen this cost will need to be covered by you. 

A $500 security deposit will be held on your credit card to cover accidental damage to the bike.  We recommend taking out Bike Damage Protection for just $30 per day with us offering peace of mind by reducing your financial responsibility for any accidental damage to your rented bike. Should any damage occur while riding, your out-of-pocket cost is capped at $500.

This cover applies only to accidental damage to the rental bike and does not extend to lost or stolen bikes, third-party claims, or personal injury.

Bike Damage Protection is an option in the checkout process when you rent your bike.  When you are at the step to add accessories - scroll to the far right.

We strongly advise you to arrange your own 3rd Party Liability Cover with a reputable provider to cover claims that may arise in the event of an incident or injury involving a 3rd party covering all road users and pedestrians.

Cancellation & Refunds

Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

  • 30+ Days out - full refund
  • 7+ Days out - 20% or credit note full value
  • 48hrs+ out - 50% refund
  • Within 48 hours of rental - no refund
